The Optometric Society of Greater Kansas City is an organization of Optometric Physicians that are dedicated to the ongoing eye health of our patients. Our members serve the community in a variety of different practice modalities as primary eye care providers that work to diagnose and treat refractive conditions and ocular diseases. We additionally work closely with Ophthalmologists, specialists and primary care physicians to provide the best care possible to our patients. Our members current meet the first Monday of the month at various locations in the Kansas City Metropolitan area nine months out of the year.

Dr. Miljavac splits her professional time between the Family Vision Center of Excelsior Springs and Visionworks’ St. Joseph, MO office. Immediate and long term optometric goals include: becoming more active as an Infantsee provider, volunteering at the KC Free Eye Clinic, going on a service trip, owning a practice, and being involved politically for the profession. She graduated from Rockhurst University in 2005, receiving a B.S. in Biology, and from the University of Missouri- St Louis School of Optometry in 2011. Dr. Miljavac is a member of the AOA, MOA, and OSGKC and currently volunteers at the Ronald McDonald House. She lives in Kansas City, MO with her husband Brian, daughter Scarlett, and son Reese. They are parishioners of St Therese Catholic Church and enjoy time together- playing outdoors, going to local events, and experiencing life as a family.
